Hello Music Intro - Ages 2 - 4 years
Hello Music is joyful introductory musical experience for you and your child. You will share creative activities that introduce movement, finger plays, singing, rhythm, keyboard activities and basic musical concepts. This program provides a strong readiness for future learning. Your teacher will evaluate your student and recommend the appropriate class for continued musical learning at Harmony Road Music Center of Oregon. Parents participate in class.

MusicTime Intro - Ages 4 - 6 years
Musictime is an age-appropriate musical experience for the 4-6 year old beginning student. You and your child will be introduced to singing, movement, note and rhythm reading, finger readiness and piano activities. This experience provides a strong readiness for future learning. Your teacher will evaluate your student and recommend the appropriate class for continued musical learning at Harmony Road Music Center of Oregon. Parents participate in class.

Young Musician Intro - Ages 6 - 8 years
Young Musician students learn age-appropriate music concepts through singing, ear training, note reading, piano solo and ensemble playing, rhythm ensemble and creative activities. Students will experience solo and ensemble performance. Your teacher will evaluate your student and recommend the appropriate class for continued musical learning at Harmony Road Music Center of Oregon. Parents participate in class.

Keyboard Prep Intro - Ages 8 - 11 years
Keyboard Prep is an exciting introduction to piano playing for the older beginner. Sessions include ear training, solfege singing, note reading, composing, solo and ensemble playing. This is a great preparation class for continuing study. Students will experience solo and ensemble performance. Your teacher will evaluate your student and recommend the appropriate class for continued musical learning at Harmony Road Music Center. Parents participate in class.

Keyboard Orchestra Ensemble for Kids

Early Ensemble - For Beginning to Early Elementary Students
Students will expand their reading skills and experience orchestration on the keyboard. Playing in ensemble enhances listening skill and encourages team work. The song material in this collection involves singing, movement, rhythm and keyboard ensemble activities. Students will perform finished ensembles at the last class of the session. Parents or helpers are encouraged to stay and take part in class for ensemble playing. Sight reading & basic piano skills are required.
$100 Includes 4 ~ 1hr sessions & materials

Intermediate Ensemble - For Elementary to Late Elementary Students
The focus of this class is keyboard performance and the development of related activities – solfege singing, sight reading, rhythm reading and response, and orchestration. Students will experience and learn about unique musical styles including “boogie”, “rag”, and orchestral selections scanning several centuries. Students will perform finished ensembles at the last class of the session. Parents or helpers are encouraged to stay and take part in class for ensemble playing. Note and rhythm line sight-reading, and piano skills are required. Knowledge of chords and experience with ensemble preferred.
