One day my parents sat me down and asked me if I wanted to play the piano. I thought about it a for awhile, then said "yes I'd like to play the piano". In the next few days after the talk, my mom signed me up for piano lessons.
I was in first grade, when I had my first class. Ms. Jan was my teacher for the first two years. She was a good teacher. In those lesson, I learned the basics. My third year, I had Ms. Gay and I was with her until I was in sixth grade.
After that, my mentor was Mrs. Judy. After a couple of months, I started to notice that I was able to remember things, that I had not been able to remember before. Things that I was able to start remembering were things like names of chords, versions of chords, and I was able to memorize pieces faster. Noticing that had helped boast my confidence in my playing, which helped me enjoy playing the piano more.
I am very thankful that I had help developing these skills and had been improving them more and more each day.
At one point I had wanted to quit, but I am quite glad that I didn't.
Thank you everyone that helped me through the years!!
